Kooper the Turtle Dragon Size Guide — All 5 Sizes Compared

9 February 2026 · 7 min read

Kooper the Turtle Dragon is one of Bad Dragon's stubbier designs — a wide, textured silhouette inspired by the turtle-dragon hybrid concept, with a shell-like surface running along the shaft. The proportions are unusual for the catalogue: short relative to most BD designs, but disproportionately girthy at every size.

That makes Kooper a different kind of buying decision from a more conventional Bad Dragon product. The midpoint diameter is the dominant variable here — length is almost an afterthought. Mini at 4.6cm is already wider than the average realistic dildo at its widest point, and the curve from Mini to XL is steep. Choosing the right Kooper means thinking in terms of girth tolerance first, length second.

This guide covers all five Kooper sizes with the actual measurements, what each size means in practice, and a set of more affordable alternatives if Bad Dragon's pricing isn't the right fit.

Kooper size comparison

| Size | Insertable | Girth (mid) | Price | |------|-----------|-------------|-------| | Mini | 10.4cm (4.1") | 4.6cm (1.8") | $70 | | Small | 14.0cm (5.5") | 6.1cm (2.4") | $90 | | Medium | 17.3cm (6.8") | 7.9cm (3.1") | $120 | | Large | 21.1cm (8.3") | 9.4cm (3.7") | $150 | | XL | 24.4cm (9.6") | 11.2cm (4.4") | $210 |

All measurements are diameters, not circumferences.

Per-size breakdown

Mini

Even the Mini is wider than what most people would call average — 4.6cm at the midpoint puts it firmly in the Full bracket on diameter, despite being only 10.4cm insertable. That's the defining oddity of Kooper: small numbers don't mean a forgiving toy. As a first BD purchase, Mini is approachable on length but already meaningful on girth.

Small

The Small is where Kooper starts to feel like its own design rather than a scaled-down version of something else. 6.1cm midpoint is comfortably above-average girth, and 14.0cm insertable means depth isn't a major factor. For people who already enjoy Full-bracket toys (4.5–6cm midpoint) and want a wider, shorter shape, Small is the natural fit.

Medium

Medium pushes into Large bracket diameter at 7.9cm midpoint, with 17.3cm insertable. The texture along the shaft amplifies the sense of fullness, so Medium feels more substantial than the bare measurement suggests. This is the most popular Kooper size for owners with prior fantasy-toy experience.

Large

Large is a serious step up — 9.4cm midpoint is approaching extreme on a textured shaft, and 21.1cm insertable is enough to engage depth as well as girth. Buy Medium first if you're new to Kooper specifically, even if you've used wider toys in other shapes.

XL

XL at 11.2cm midpoint is squarely in extreme territory, regardless of insertable length. The textured shell amplifies that further. Most XL owners also own a Medium or Large and use those more often.

The shape is the whole point

Kooper isn't trying to be a long toy. The shell-like texture, the stubby profile, and the steep girth progression are the design — picking a Kooper based on length is missing what the toy is for. If you want length-first, almost any other BD product is a better choice. If you want a focused, girth-driven experience with a distinctive surface, this is what Kooper does well.

The texture is also worth understanding before buying. The shell-pattern surface adds effective girth beyond the listed midpoint — a 6.1cm Small Kooper doesn't feel the same as a 6.1cm smooth shaft. Lubrication requirements are higher than for a smooth toy of equivalent diameter, and water-based lubricant is what to use with platinum silicone. Apply more than you think you need, and reapply rather than push through friction — the texture compounds the consequences of going dry.

Budget alternatives

Not ready to spend $90+ on platinum silicone? The Amazon fantasy market has options at lower prices, with measurements you can compare against the Kooper sizes directly.

A note on material: most Amazon fantasy toys at these prices are TPE or PVC rather than platinum-cured silicone. TPE warms up faster and is softer to the touch, but it's porous and can't be fully sterilised — replace it more often and don't share it. Bad Dragon is platinum silicone, which is non-porous and more durable. Different material, different feel, different price tier.
